The Ancient times of Fantasira
Fantasira was once a place were Native Americans lived. Hundreds of years ago they dwelled here when they made their first steps upon the North American continent, but something had whipped them out. Their songs once danced over the lands and blended with the howling of the many wolf packs that once lurked. It was an illness, a terminal disease that came and killed them all one winter, leaving nothing but their homes that soon vansihed as well. Since then, no other humans have ever stepped foot here, but it is claimed that this place is haunted, haunted and cursed with this killing disease that they say will rise again in a mutated form, and this time effect the wolves.
Over time a large pack was formed in the lands of Fantasira. An enormous pack that everyone joined together in. It was indeed unnatural for wolves to do such things, but talks of myths dealing with the death of Native Americans brought this enormous pack together to survive. They lasted for a hundred years this enormous pack of fifty wolves, but how long was this truly going to last?
From the second litter of the Falkurt Alpha's, stepped forward a sly male, bent on tearing down what his sire and dam worked so hard to build for him. Wanting, yearning for what should have been, seeing as he was born second; the right to stand as Alpha, this brute set in motion plans to start trouble. In the dead of night, the second born, of the second litter left his birth pack, with a small band of wolves that had followed him, and with the corrupted wolf that had talked him into this betrayal, at his right side. When morning came, and the Alpha Male of the Falkurt Pack found his son to be missing, along with twenty of his wolves, he was outraged. Scouts were sent out, with orders to bring back, not hurt his son and the wolves.
Dawn broke and the sun hit midday, bring the scouts back with news for their Alpha. Falkurt's son had started his own pack, named himself Alpha Male of the Ensom Pack. The Alphas of the Falkurt pack were both hurt and angry with their second born, as he would have had a comfortable life within their pack, yet he had chosen to go against them and chose to start his own pack. Standing tall, the Alpha Male and Female of the Falkurt Pack stepped forward to greet their new enemy, the Alpha Male of the Ensom Pack, their own son.
Two suns later, another of the Falkurt Alpha's offspring broke rank and set out to start her own pack. Having always been a strong, family pack, the Falkurt Pack struggled to stay the dominant pack, with two other, strong packs growing within their lands. Thus, the enormous wolf pack of Fantasira had been broken. These three packs had set off and claimed territory of their own.
What is Becoming
In these lands there is no light, nor is there darkness. These wolves have lived since wolves have ever existed, living in the Northern lands of the Yukon. It's indeed a dangerous place to tread with threats of bears and scarce prey.
Wolves generally live in their own family packs, but these wolves have evolved. They seek more lands, more pack members and with an increasingly amount of greed. These ancient packs grow bitter keeping secret alliances from other packs preparing for a battle. But where wolves live in a world where some things must die to prepare for the new, what happens to the new when the old do not die, when these packs do not break apart, when their alphas keep hold of their claim?
New packs are finally starting to form in hopes of creating some sort of balance in hopes of ending the older packs from taking over. If new packs aren't started and old packs increase in size what will happen?
Out of the original three packs, two of them had survived; the Ensom and Kvinner. The Ensom stuck to it's destructive ways, while the Kvinner pack became a more feral pack, keeping to itself and simply watching the other packs. The pack grew in size rapidly, with wolves that were overtaken by greed from what living in a larger pack provided. The other two packs are hardly holding on, one in which wanting help from no one, and the other completely vanishing.
A new pack has discovered the lands where the once Falkurt pack existed; the Niakoma Pack. They claim it as a home of their own, but with forming a new pack, means dealing with the pressing threats of the Ensom pack. The Ensom pack is desperate to get rid of the neightboring packs; while the Kvinner's do as they have done since they were created. Greedy for more territory and more females as well. Each wolf has their own reason, but each reason good enough to take over. They want any new packs destroyed and only to leave the secluded pack, which the daughter of Falkurt's female pup once lead, and his own. This new pack must perish, and not by a simple invasion. After all, a pack cannot survive without its second generation.
Let's not forget about the myths of an returning illness that still continue to linger.
